Breast Procedures
These are the procedures that Dr. Atencio and her team provides to their patients at their center in Austin, TX. These are the procedures:
Augmentation – is a surgical procedure that’s designed to improve the shape and size of a woman’s breasts using silicone or saline implants. This is an invasive surgical procedure that requires making incisions.
Reduction – is a plastic surgery procedure that is designed to reduce the size and change the shape of the breasts. It is commonly performed on women who feel that the size of their breasts is too big and wish to give their bodies a more symmetrical appearance that’s also more comfortable.
Augmentation and Lift – are performed similarly to how the procedures are performed separately. After the administration of the anesthetic, corrections will be made to the saggy skin and excess glandular tissue. If necessary, the nipples and areolas will be repositioned to better fit the contours of the breasts. Pockets will be created for the placement of implants. Once they are inserted, the incisions will be closed and the treatment area will be bandaged.
Revision Surgery – is a surgical procedure that’s designed to help women who aren’t happy with the results they obtained from an initial breast augmentation. This technique requires close attention to detail and an artistic vision to properly address the issues you’ve been experiencing and improve the overall look.
Nipple Surgery – is a corrective cosmetic procedure that is designed to help solve cosmetic and functional problems related to the nipple-areolar complex. It is commonly used to treat oversized areolas, large or elongated nipples, misshapen nipples, and inverted nipples. There are different types of nipple surgery techniques that can be used to treat your specific problem.
